this picture depicts a scene of life-science experiment that is carry out in science lab. there are groups of students carrying out their experiment. all of them wore white lab-coat and a pair of plastic golves. there are four students in the foreground of the picture. all of them smile happily at the plate that the third girl from left is holding on to. they probably enjoying the joy of getting a nice result. i can see that they handle the plate with care and was curious with what had make it happen. after this kind of life-science course will sure innovate the students interest in science.

Conversation

i would like to study photograpy in the future. i like to take photo of people. i think everyone have their own unique expression. from the photo that i take i can feel the person’s emotions. i think is a way to communicate with other. i don’t think everyone must go to university. it is best that if you have the degree. however for some people, they really cannot study or they have special ablilties that can develop well without the degree.

i think in order encourage the young children to be interested in science. experiment is the best way. the children are curious, and science experiment can most likely to make them curious. they are curious and they want to find out more.

EL-ORAL Day 7

July 2, 2009

picture

this picture depicts a scene of area cleaning in a hawker centre. there are many people involve in this programme. i can see many on-looker in the background of the picture. they probably are the regular customer of this hawker centre who wait for the clean programme to end in order to buy food. this must be a busy hawker centre in normal day, as alot of people are waiting outside of the centre. there are also some people mopping the floor of the centre. the floor are totally wet with bubbles. there is also alot of round tables and round chairs in this centre.  the woman in the far end right of the picture is holding onto a hose and spray water onto the table to ensure the tables are clean thoroughhly.

Conversation

i am a tidy and organised person. i prefer my room to be clean and neat rather than having a messy living condition. i like to organise my room. it makes me feel happier when i see my belongings are neatly arrange. i will try to clean my room every week in order to keep the room clean and neat to live in.

i t is diffcult to have good hygiene when alot of people crowded together. different people have different perspective of good hygiene.  however, being too hygiene is also a problem. when you get use of extreme hygiene environment. it may be very hard for you to adopt an environment that is not that clean. virus may attack you easily as your body’s immune system are not powerful enough to fight against it.

EL-ORAL Day 5

July 2, 2009

picture

this picture depicts a scene of phsics experiment that is carry out in physics laboratory. i can see physics equiments such as retort- stand and movable puller. the teacher at the left is holding the string of the movable puller. she probably is teaching the students the ” magic” of physics. there are three students beside her . they all listen attentively  and concentrate  on the measurament and attracted to science. i can see the boy at the extreme right of the picture was looking at the measurament with head slightly slanted. he is probably thinking about the answer to the measurement that he had taken down.

Conversation

i enjoy doing chemistry in school. i think the chemicial changes is very magical. it attract my attention as colourful chemical that changes colour and bubbles formed. i like to do work hand in hand because i can learn better through experience. i can absorb the information faster by carry out the experiment.

i think all subjects are equally important. some subjectmayseems to be more important than the other. however, i think all subjects are important as long as the students have the interest and abilities to study these subject.

EL-ORAL Day 3

July 2, 2009

picture

this picture depicts a few groups of student building sandcastles together. it looks like a competition. i can see a woman at the extreme right side of the picture is giving th children instructions and the children are listening attentively by putting their hands onto the castles’ base that i already built. i think this kind of outdoor activies are beneficial for children’s character development. not only bond them with classmates but also allow them to realise the fun of learning.

coversation

i have went to competition that is held in Sentosa. it is about family bonding. the family that co-coperate with each other the best and finish the task the fastest would win. although we come in second in the end. i still enjoy this competition very much. i enjoy the sun and sa well as sharing the happiness with my family members. i think this type of competition will not only allow us to have fun but also allow families to understand more about each other.

definitely, children should take part in more outdoor activities. outdaoor activities can help them to explore the world and building up their bodies. not only that, outdoor activities can make study more fun. this will help to build up their interest in study too.

nowadays, children are inflence with computer games. it is because computer games are conveniently on the computer. all they need is to move their fingers. however, i think children should not spend too much time on computer games. when they get addicted they will neglect their studies and affect their results. and als, sitting infront of computer for long period of time is bad for their eye-sight. this is  also bad for their body development. they did not exerise much and will grow fat easily.

EL-ORAL Day 1

July 2, 2009

Picture

This picture depicts a scene of the nursing home. The elderly are having ballgames with one of the nurse. i think this is a room that especially reserve for recreational activities.  perhaps, they ar ehaving indoor activity is because it is more convenient for them. it is easlier for them to proceed to the venue as they are old and some of them are siting on the wheelchair. thay are enjoying themselves as they smile happily to catch theball. i think this kind of activity shoul be held frequently as it keeps the elderly healthy. as well as interaction.

Conversation

my grandmother was 75 years old . she gets excerise every morining. she is healthier than most of the old folks at her age. she could run 2km non-stop. she dance when ever she is happy. we offten went to park with our doggy. i have learned from her that healthy lifestyle is very important to all of us. especially the elderly, it helps themselves to keep fit and do not get sick easily.

i would design a home with more activities that allows the elderly to interact often. with these activities carry out, the elderly will live a happy life for their rest of their years. i think it can be charge as low as possible. as we know, taking care of elderly is our generation’s social responsibility. they had work hard for us and now is the time we should take care of them in return.

He could see the gregarious hostess scurried from group to group, making friends and influncing people. He took a cursory glance at his boss who was engrossed dancing with the female staffs. Surprisingly, he saw his girlfriend was one of them. Edwin was normally reticent and he was the antithesis of this kind of party. He was even more agitate when his girlfriend tried to embellish the story and made excuses to calm Edwin down.
